Scorpion sewing with Sithen

Everyone in Ruatha so uptight. Only broke two windows - don't see what fuss was about, human-monkey-children do more damage with spitballs and sticks. I was one getting hit in head by heavy bladed object, anyway. Have decided that larger kites do fly better, but sharpening edges can be mildly detrimental to health. V.annoying, as in built sense of Iltyr aesthetics says that all items must be pointy or bladed.
Was wiping blood out of eyes with rag in town square when saw humans staring. Humans always stare - v.strange things, humans. Offered to let them fly kite, most peculiar - both look at me, and look at broken windows, and look at kite, then walk off giggling.
Is Spring in Ruatha. Explanation of peculiar behaviour? Unsure. Also, do not fully grasp 'Spring' concept. Have been examining entire city for signs of such and seen no springs at all. Will make some advanced special versions and release into the wild to demonstrate willingness to work with Sunlander customs.
Visit Cathal - yay! Cath always makes big effort to cheer me up. Have noticed often does this by lying in bed and pulling Legolas-print covers over top of head and pretending not to be there. This time used sneaky sneaky quietness to get in before she saw me coming - hah, go me! Caught her writing v.depressing poetry of sort previously thought restricted to fifteen year old human children of accountants. V.strange. Perhaps is attempt at cross-cultural understanding.
Demonstrated new toy for brother. Shiny shiny toy! Extremely useful invention designed to stitch wounds back together. Unfortunately, while showing on self, forgot to remove shirt. Is new and daring fashion statement regarding post modern consumerist politics, or at least was until Cath used unpicker to remove shirt from back.
Ow.
Rather unfortunate, Cathal extracted scorpion device from shoulder blade with bare hands, er, leading to some small side effects and teeny tiny massively loss of blood. So silly. Also, having thread yanked out of body is ticklish.
Got v.mopey regarding blood all over nice clothes again, plus brother not appreciating toy or lacerations on fingers. Oooh, she says is v.pretty and nice, but can tell by way threw it across room and into lemon-scented bath water is not seeing complete benefits of small scorpion that sews skin together. Look on face reminds me vaguely of teacher when brother takes me to Parent Teacher night and asks why I fail Social Studies. V.silly, really, since am quite social, and Cath is most nice, saying things like "And such a shame about the metalworking teacher, I trust the asylum is looking after him well?" and "I hope the fires in the chemistry labs didn't do too much damage?" and so on.
Always did wonder what happen to v.mean older kids who bullied me, and why Cath suddenly found new black leather valise. Oh well.
Number of times have scared people in Ruatha - 1. V.good. Unfortunately, was brother, so technically zero sum game.
