This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things

Back in Delros. Just aw we sat down to divide up the loot, Serafima showed up again. Apparently she'd wandered off, while in Senwith's stronghold, and played with the teleporter, and so ended up back in Delros.
SERAFIMA: "That was so yesterday."
It appears that with the snake-men gathering just outside the city, Mayor Brightshadow has been overthrown; having driven the old Thieves' Guild out of town, he created a vacuum, and the replacements got ambitious. Neil is distressed - apparently, if they count as legitimate authority, he would have to obey their laws. Am not quite sure how a coup by force of arms provides 'legitimate authority', but if it does... hmm. Possibilities.
Incidentally, Neil has been talking to his god, who is apparently Not Very Happy about the bio-warfare thing. (Duh.)
PIP: "What do you think I did a bit of cross-dressing and bailed out for?"
( In which we visit my parents' house. )
