Jinx got stabbed to death at docks. Much sobbing, crying, mourning of her ability to nance along ships rigging etc. Unfortunately, when she died the illusion...er...that...he...wore...dropped.

Have been having warm fuzzy sorts about and occassionally snogging male Iltyr assassin.

V.confused now. Blame Cathal. If it were not for ridiculous fad of Iltyr for mimicking members of opposite sex would not now be in current quandary. Newsflash as well - Jinx had bit on side called Lyris when in true shape as Shadowwind, dashing devilmaycare Iltyr killer. Seethe. Not sure whether to feel extremely jealous of prettier Fae - FAE - or merely just annoyed that was lied to. I mean, seriously, if elves not give hint of true gender to other elves, how on earth will the humans ever work out who is who, eh?

Seethe seethe seethe. At least can trust Calair. Also, Calair is not immortal, perfect Fae called Lyris.

Lyris. Bet it means something obscene in Fae.

Anyway, was wafted away down into insides of House Ender - bad decor, all black 'I am an evil genius style'. Everyone knows mr 'Happy fun joy' Moonshadow is nice guy, not sure why he smiles that way when he sees manacles. Er...

Have made rather bad mistake, it seems. Looks like Moonshadow is...er...horribly wicked. How was I to know? Honestly - everyone wears black and moves silently and can read your mind these days! Had little bit of turn in his lovely room decorated with iron maiden, chains, etc, prisoners and so on and accidentally sort of tortured three people to death.

It could happen to anyone! I mean, er...look at the pretty patterns in the blood. Whee! I like bunnies!

Next thing I know is several weeks later and am sitting with Brenna who has made me drink something called 'Tincture of Thorazine'. Rather fancy the stuff now. Anyway, am arguing with Brenna when little light goes on in the back of gorgeous, perfectly shaped skull. Moonshadow finds it useful having nice pet Mechanista who designs weapons of mass destruction. But then after father, I get clued into the bad side of evil genius. So then when Jinx - who is really male Shadowwind, eew, I snogged a guy - is dead, he takes me to torture chamber with people who perforated him (and not in a good way, mind you was so butch) and...

Oh dear.

Er.

Ooops. Tried to explain entire thing to Brenna, but suddenly thought better of it, since do not want either her heard or mine to explode in ball of gore. Would no longer be prettiest then. Also, roots might show and have just got my hair exactly perfect shade since rain of blood in city. What is world coming to, when rain of blood can occur, eh? Madness!

Had a nice talk with Roninwolf, who is very pleasant fuzzy eight foot tall wolf gentleman. Going to leave icky House Ender and career as mad inventor with the spider-devices and the knives and help Brenna with the instruments and things. For Warrior caste, Brenna cracking good Iltyr - also can sing modern Iltyr music v.well. Could make Ian Curtis off himself if he hadn't already. Also, Brenna has not told me am girly mauve-wearing fae sort for falling in love with another male.

Haven't seen cathal around much. Prolly mooning over his new girly girl still. Honestly. Told him to give up on that - stop living in the past, get with the now, darken wardrobe and become beat poet. Last step in long slow degeneration really. He is so much a girlie man.

Prolly helped by actually being sister.

Life so complex. Wish was stuck with tyrannosaurs with Calair. At least then could laugh at dwarf.

Alas, Ric is no longer dwarf. Has been reincarnated as six-foot-tall human-type. Good side: bathes more frequently, no longer have to kill him if marital complications require extermination of entire dwarven race. Bad side: took nearly a week before we could find clothes that fit him.

Many sympathies. Is difficult being as beautiful as we are.

Vaguely worried - does this mean racial changes often occur?

Hmm...missing word...hmm...unsure. Was too long since last played association game...but have vague memory of something like 'Quill Pen' being involved, or possibly 'soup'.

Hmm... does not ring bell, but will happily substitute 'quill pen'.

Be not alarmed - racial changes only likely if killed and then reincarnated, thus, can be avoided by not getting killed.
